Our McDonald's Relationship

McDonald's Corporation, Customers, and Suppliers

 

As RMHC Founding Mission Partner since 1974; the McDonald’s system is our largest corporate partner, RMHC of El Paso is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. RMHC of El Paso relies on the support of the entire community and greatly values donations from the community and other corporate partners.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of El Paso is neither owned, nor fully funded by McDonald’s. However, the McDonald’s corporation is a partner in care.

Local McDonald’s owner/operators and their customers provide 14%-16% of RMHC of El Paso’s operating budget.

Several owner/operators and McDonald’s corporate employees serve as members of our Board of Directors, as well as offer their services as volunteers.

McDonald’s customers show their support by donating change in the restaurant Donation Boxes. In El Paso donations collected through the Donation Box program are contributed to the Ronald McDonald House.

McDonald’s partners, such as Coca-Cola and Southwest Airlines are also donors to RMHC of El Paso Chapter.

 

 

RMHC & The Medical Community

Helping to reach access to health care

 

In order to improve the health and wellbeing of children, RMHC of El Paso relies on strong partnerships with the medical community – relationships that have been nurtured and have grown since 1984. Because of this, we can address health care needs for children and families through:

• Our two core programs supporting families being cared for in El Paso.

 

Medical professionals contribute to RMHC in a variety of different ways:

• Referring families in need of supportive, affordable accommodations to our

 programs.

• They are actively engaged as members of the RMHC local board of directors.

• They provide space within hospitals for Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.
