Celebrating our families by raising money and awareness
In order to help so many families each year, Ronald McDonald House Charities of El Paso depends on businesses, community groups, students, and kids to generate the resources needed to assist many seriously ill children and their families.
Hosting an event to benefit our charity is a great way to have fun and truly make a difference at the same time. Outside Fundraisers and Third-party events are when generous people apart from our charity organize and host an event of which all or a portion of the net income after expenses benefits us. A pop tab is the small metal tab on the top of aluminum beverage cans. Ronald McDonald Houses collect pop tabs instead of entire aluminum cans because it is more hygienic to store tabs than cans, and collection and storage is easier. The program allows people of all ages to support RMHC and know they are making a difference for families and children.
RMHC El Paso collects these pop tabs to recycle and put the proceeds towards our programs.
It’s easy to start collecting pop tabs, Here’s how... choose a container of your choice, print out the label provided and tape it to your container. Place the container at home, work, school or any location people drink canned sodas. Pull the pop tab off your can before recycling. Spread the word!
